As a sometime contributor to/always reader of VIDEOSCOPE, and one who was occasionally fortunate enough to enjoy Joe’s company on Oscar night, I am very saddened by this news. VS is a magazine that occupies a special niche among genre publications, not to mention in my heart, and his NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD book was also most impressive, as I was delighted to elaborate over at Bradley on Film when it was published. You will be missed, dear Phantom, and our family sends sincerest condolences to yours.
